On Monday, the minister of Finance, Taif Sami, appointed an adviser to supervise the work of government banks.
According to a document obtained by (Baghdad today), the minister of finance, adviser to the ministry Abdul Hassan Jamal, was assigned to supervise the work of government banks.
Earlier, the Iraqi minister of Finance, Taif Sami, decided to make administrative changes to a number of officials working in the ministry.
The documents signed by the minister and obtained by Baghdad today included the
termination of the assignment of the Assistant Director General of the Agricultural Bank from the bank's business department, and the
assignment of the director general of the Industrial Bank to the agricultural department in addition to his duties until the appointment of a director general of the bank. The changes included the
termination of the authorization of the assistant director general of the economic department as an agency from walking the Department's mail, and
assigning the director general of the legal department to manage the department in addition to his duties.
