Al-Hakim's Movement Reveals The Priorities Of The Sudanese Government.. What About The Oil Surplus?

10/28/2022

Earth News/
The Wisdom Movement confirmed today, Friday, that the new government has the responsibility to fight corruption, and to bring those involved in this file to justice.

In a televised interview followed by Earth News, Abbas Ghadeer, a member of the General Authority of the Movement, said that

"corruption is one of the accumulated files created by previous governments, where corruption spread in all parts of the state."  He added that

"the new prime minister is in the process of increasing the amounts of social welfare and addressing the career ladder between special grades and the simple employee, with the aim of fighting poverty," and he added,

"Al-Sudani will also follow up the file of huge funds for officials."  Ghadeer stressed that

"the current government has financial abundance as a result of the rise in oil prices and possesses the elements of success and support," noting that

"the new government must be in direct contact with the citizen, and improve the living situation by controlling government performance and attention to infrastructure, industry, trade and agriculture."  He also stressed that

"the new government should invest the surplus funds as a result of the rise in oil prices and employ them in the above-mentioned areas."  Ghadeer added that

"the Sudanese government must find harmony with the legislative authority and cooperate between them to change the economic situation and the situation of citizens in general."

Regarding the early Iraqi elections, he said,

“A decision of the Federal Court 159 of 2022 demands legislative intervention in the issue of restoring the electoral law and restructuring the Electoral Commission.  And he added,

"Then they have to find the appropriate environment for holding the elections, especially since they need funds and other logistical tools, as well as a safe environment for holding the elections."  Ghadeer stressed that

“close cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities is the greatest guarantee that there will be a good relationship between the two authorities to present the government program,” noting that

“the state administration paper that was signed between the parties participating in the new government and which has the largest seats in Parliament, will lead to Speeding up the implementation of laws and passing them more easily.”
