The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq meets the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh

His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mr. Mustafa Ghaleb Mukhaif, received His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh in Baghdad, Mr. Amdi Fadloul Bari.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Bangladesh to His Excellency.
He discussed prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Bangladesh in aspects related to the financial and banking sector.
During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed the issue of the dues of Bangladeshi workers during the past period, and
the issue of a request to facilitate the procedures for transferring their entitlements at the present time.
The two sides discussed the continuation of cooperation and the development of its fields between the two countries,
stressing his interest in cooperation between the two monetary institutions in the two countries, with
directing the concerned banks to facilitate the procedures for paying these dues and transferring them to where they wish through official channels.
