An informed political source revealed, on Monday, a proposal by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to form a government without the participation of his bloc and the State of Law coalition, to get out of the political crisis.  The source told Shafaq News Agency,

"The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, sent messages to the coordinating framework forces, which included a proposal aimed at ending the political crisis in Iraq, by forming a new government, without the participation of the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki and the absence of the Sadrist movement's participation in it."".  And that

"the tasks of the government will be for a period of one year only, during which it will prepare for holding early parliamentary elections in September of next year, and the prime minister will be consensual between the Sadrist movement and the coordination framework."  The source pointed out that

"the leaders of the coordinating framework have not yet responded to al-Sadr's proposal."
