Iraqi air navigation welcomed, on Monday, the return of American airlines to use Iraqi airspace to cross to their intended destinations.

And the Iraqi Ministry of Transport stated in a statement, received by the "National News Center", that

"American Airlines is re-using Iraqi airspace to cross to its intended destinations after an interruption of several years."

The statement added, "Air Navigation welcomes all international and local airlines."
