The General Company for Railways confirmed earlier that it faces very big challenges, including the reluctance of the general government sector, especially the Ministry of Oil, to use trains, and the trend towards cars that have damaged the country's infrastructure.
The Director General of the Petroleum Products Company, Hussein Talib, said in a statement, "The Products Company has contracts with the General Company for Railways related to black oil for export purposes from the central and southern Euphrates governorates."
He added, "The exported crude oil is within the jurisdiction of the National Oil Company through the pipeline company that connects to the export ports without the need for land transportation to intervene."
He explained that "the General Company for Railways has priority in transportation operations, due to its importance in economic feasibility and in the approved prices that are close to the private sector, without exaggeration in the specified prices." End/25
