Alusi: The national production must be evaluated

Raghad Nabil Al-Alusi, a specialist in economic affairs, stressed the adoption of strategic plans to promote industrial production in all possible industrial joints in the country.
Al-Alusi said that "Iraq has entered a new stage that requires work to revive the national product to be an effective supporter of local markets and maintain its stability, especially after reducing the value."
The local currency, and the confusion witnessed by various economic circles, she pointed to the possibility of direct action to support the national product and to form specific work committees to follow up the reality of production in the industrial and agricultural sectors, to work on evaluating the performance in the two sectors and to support the efforts made to expand national production and cover local demand
She stressed the importance of this being accompanied by medium and long-term production development plans, taking advantage of the elements of expansion in production available locally, or by entering into international bilateral partnerships that make the country a center for many industries.
