An oil expert warns of the risks of approving the oil and gas law in its current form

The oil expert, Hussein Rabia, warned, on Sunday, of the House of Representatives attempt to pass the oil and gas law in its current form.
Rabieia said in an interview with Al-Iqtisad News, "The House of Representatives is trying to approve the oil and gas law in its current form in order to serve the ruling political parties," noting that "this will lead to a waste of public money after the loss of our oil wealth."
He added, "Those who drafted the law are people who have no knowledge or experience in the oil and gas industry."
And he stressed the need for "everyone now stands up to the law unless a basic structure is put in place by experts who do not have party affiliations."
