Sunday 22nd November 2020 51
Baghdad: Morning

The head of the Iraqi-Indian Business Council, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Sattar Al-Baghdadi, stressed the creation of an ideal and attractive investment climate for advanced global companies, and works to transfer successful international economic experiences and adopt them locally.

Al-Baghdadi said in an interview with Al-Sabah: “The reality of the situation in the country requires us to open up to the regional and international work system and try to benefit from them to raise economic performance in a way that changes the reality of the economy to a better stage commensurate with the country's capabilities.”

He pointed out that "the developed international effort wants to enter the Iraqi market, which represents a renewable job opportunity," noting that

"the entry of specialized international investments results in a treatment for all economic problems in the production and service sectors, and then entering the stage of sustainable development."

He pointed out that "the country has the elements for the advancement of the economy, which requires an organization of the reality of work, and the investment of wealth in a manner that achieves the highest degree of economic feasibility," noting that

"Iraq is in dire need of real directions that advance the national economy, as Iraq must be an economic starting point for many World economies that are aware of the importance of the geographical location of Iraq in the arena of the global economy.

Al-Baghdadi stressed "the importance for everyone to participate in raising the economic performance of Iraq, which is described as a country rich in its natural and human resources,"

pointing to Egypt's experience and how to employ its human energies in economic development, especially the army, which has a great implementation effort in more than one economic joint.

It is now implementing various and strategic projects such as roads and cities, as well as in the agricultural sector, because the army has all the functions and thus has become supportive of the economic development process with qualitative performance at lower costs, and this is an axis that can be used in the country.
