He noted that "The government of Iraq is looking forward to building an integrated and diversified economy to open new outlets and revenues alongside the oil sector, by exploiting investment opportunities and promising projects, and benefiting from the expertise and experiences of neighboring countries, including Saudi Arabia.
The Minister of Trade pointed out to "the depth of the close brotherly relations that bind Iraq and Saudi Arabia, which constitute an incentive for the two countries to strengthen joint cooperation and develop relations at the economic, commercial and investment levels."
He stated, "Organizing the trade policy file is the entry gate for economic development within the country, which comes in line with the government’s direction to prepare the appropriate climate to attract more investments to achieve this.
