Minister of Finance: Oil should not be relied upon as a single resource for the state

Finance Minister Fuad Mohammed Hussein officially began his duties as deputy prime minister for economic affairs in his office in Baghdad.
According to a statement of the ministry received the agency {Euphrates News} copy of him that Hussein "met with the advanced staff in the office in addition to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and Inspector General of the Ministry and listened to an explanation of the functions of the Office and the most important files that fall within his responsibilities in addition to the Committee on Economic Affairs.
He pointed out that "the need to draw oil revenues and the rest of the resources and financial returns that accompany the state budget to build investment projects and a strategy to maximize imports and not rely on the unilateral aspect of resources."
"The need to promote the industrial, agricultural and tourism reality and support the private sector in order to stimulate the economy and create jobs."
