Baghdad, November 21 (Rn) - The Iraqi parliamentary forces Monday welcomed the Presidency of the Council of Representatives to allocate sessions on Thursday of each week to vote on the legislation, calling it a "serious step" to activate the legislative role.

And decided the Presidency of the Council of Representatives during its meeting with heads of parliamentary blocs on Sunday allocation on Thursday of each week to vote on legislation to continue the rest of the regular work day schedules.

The House also decided the amount of the deduction for non-attendance at voting sessions million instead of 500 thousand dinars.

A spokesman for the coalition in Iraq Haider Mulla, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) "We welcome the decision and consider it a positive flows toward the activation of the legislative role of the Council of Representatives."

And has been some parliamentary forces during the last legislative term to withdraw from the sessions that include the vote on certain laws in the absence of a consensus on its terms.

Analysts say the lack of a quorum of the meetings led to a delay in the previous legislation into law most of the important laws of oil and gas and the Law Council of strategic policies and the law of the Federal Supreme Court.

Al Mulla said, "Council's Congress suffered from an imbalance quorum impact on the rates of the legislation of laws .. some laws require two-thirds of the members of the House of Representatives."

The Kurdish Alliance welcomed the decision. The MP said Mahmoud Othman (Rn) "We need tough decisions to put an end to the absence of Representatives. I call on the Presidency to take the maximum amount of disciplinary decisions against the MPs who underestimate their jobs."

He added, "Although the current election cycle have developed in the work of Deputies compared to the previous electoral cycle is that the Council needs to work effective and elevate it in line with its role."

The Presidency of the Council of Representatives has held a meeting on Sunday preceding the first meeting of the current legislative session after the holiday lasted 40 days and discussed a range of issues, most notably the activation of the legislative role of the Council and to endeavor to reach agreement on pending laws, especially the strategic ones.

For his part, called on the State of Law Coalition led by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's deputies to respect the decisions of the Presidency and seek to strengthen the performance of the Council and beyond what they Balhfouat which was signed by the Council during the last legislative term.

The MP said the state law, Hussein al-Asadi (Rn) that "the more the suffering of the parliament ... will the absence of legislative self-Vice: most reflect the view of the President of the mass and not a personal opinion ... we need to get rid of this phenomenon."

And the House of Representatives held its second season of the current legislative session on Tuesday, which includes questioning the Mayor of Baghdad Sabir al-Issawi following a request made by the MP for the State of Law Coalition and a member of the Integrity Committee Shirwan Waeli.
