Said Minister of Industry Mohammed Darraji, that 57% of the funds go to sell oil to import goods and merchandise which reflects the reality of local industries.
He said Darraji told a news conference in Baghdad attended / scales News /, that "Iraq has spent over the past years, nearly 321.6 billion dollars, or the equivalent of 57% of the total imports of Iraqi oil in order to import goods and various goods from outside the country," noting that "This is imperative for the government to work on the development of short, medium and long-term strategies for the advancement of the industrial sector."
He noted, that "the need for a package of governmental and legislative actions and popular media and support, which is based on the local product support and the importance of understanding that there will be economic correctly by the government and the citizen and the Parliament to this matter."
He said al-Darraji, according to the statement "the need to encourage investment and participation with the private sector according to the proper legal procedures and under specific conditions, including the financial efficiency of clear investment companies that are experienced and specialized in the area concerned and provide study economic and technical feasibility of the projects concerned with investment and not less than the added value of production for 25 percent ".anthy 29/9 P
