Parliamentary Finance: the issuance of the two categories of 50 000 dinars and 100 thousand dinars will strengthen the local currency

Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, Tuesday, that the issuance of a new edition in both categories of 50 000 dinars and 100 thousand dinars will strengthen the local currency, while noting that the decision of the new editions have nothing to do with a project to delete the zeros of the currency.
A member of the committee MP Abdul Qader Mohammed for "Sky Press," that "the Central Bank is working to reduce the local currency size through the issuance of new editions category 50 000 dinars and 100 000 dinars," he said. "This decision will support the Iraqi dinar and strengthens."
He added that "This project will serve the traders in foreign dealings and facilitate the transfer of money from one place to another process," pointing out that "a central bank to issue these editions did not come as a prelude to the project to delete the zeros deferred its implementation at the moment."
The Central Bank of Iraq for the previously announced issuance of new editions in both categories of the 50 000 dinars time and 100 000 dinars.
The central bank has issued new editions to the category of the 5000 dinars and 10,000 dinars bearing blades safer, especially after the spread of the phenomenon of counterfeiting in Iraq during the past period.
