I read that the dollar was bringing down the dinar, so I just was showing how much it was as of this date

The link you provided is for a currency exchange calculator. Any currency you enter in both boxes will come out 1. If you enter 1 dinar to be converted to 1 dinar, you will get 1 dinar.

What you want to be looking at and what I am pretty sure you are referring to is the "dollar index". Here is a link to a live feed for that. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
