BAGHDAD / NINA / The U.S Defense Minister Chuck Hagel declared that the United States is ready to support Iraq militarily at the request of the new government.
He said in a joint news conference with John Kerry in the Australian city of Sydney: "We are waiting for the new Iraqi government to provide support from the United States, and we are ready to consider the possibility of increasing military support for Iraq."
