The UN Security Council a draft resolution to address threats to Daash in Iraq

Baghdad / follow Baghdadi News / .. announced the British ambassador, on Friday, he will distribute a draft resolution to the UN Security Council members to address the threat of regulation Daash urged the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the Security Council, the international community to assist the Government and people of Iraq in dealing with the progress achieved organization "Daash" in the north of the country.
The Security Council held an emergency meeting after the progress militants organize "Daash" towards the capital of the Kurdish region, forcing thousands of Christians to flee for themselves in an attack that sparked talk of Western military intervention.
The Reuters news agency quoted from the British ambassador to the United Nations, the Security Council president for the current month Mark Lyall Grant was quoted as saying that he "will be distributed later in the fifteen members of the council a draft resolution that seeks to address the threat posed by the organization of the Islamic state."
"The draft, which expressed the hope that is being negotiated in the coming days identify practical steps to address the financing and recruitment for the organization of the Islamic state and suggests the inclusion of the main leaders of the organization in the system of the UN Security Council for sanctions-Qaeda."
For his part, called on UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in his statement, "the international community and especially those who have the influence and resources to impact positively on the situation to support the Government and people of Iraq, and do everything in their power to alleviate the suffering of the people affected by the current conflict in Iraq."
The Security Council echoed Ban's call and condemned "the systematic persecution of members of the minority population and those who reject the extremist ideology of the organization of the Islamic state and armed groups associated with it."
The council said in a statement that "members of the Security Council reiterate to say that the extensive and systematic attacks that target any civilian population because of their race or background or political affiliation or religious beliefs, or may constitute a crime against humanity should be held accountable by the profile officials."
This is the third statement is for the UN Security Council in two weeks, on what the organization of "Daash" which is more extreme than the norm. Ban said he was "strongly Halle" reports of attacks by gunmen recently organized in the towns of Kirkuk and Kerkosh.anthy / Agencies
