Committee for the economy likely to apply customs tariff law next year

Follow-up / newspaper integrity - in spite of the government's announcement on the application of the customs tariff law, but this law has not been applied so far.

Ezzat and member of the Committee on the economy and investment representative, Attorney Nora Albjara so close to the date of the parliamentary elections which will take place the end of next April.

Albjara said: "Although the government's announcement on the application of the law of the customs tariff on some imported materials during the beginning of this year, but it has so far not been implemented because of the proximity upcoming parliamentary elections and the possibility exploited by some political parties."

Albjara ruled out: an application of the law after the next election that the State will be busy on how to form a new government that will take a long time, is likely to apply early next year.

She pointed out: that the non-application of the Tariff Act has a negative impact on the economy and cost the country's major financial losses as a financial levy is to go to the state law as well as it protects the local products. Ended 9
