BAGHDAD / NINA / Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki confirmed on Sunday 9 Feb. that the victory over the terrorists would not be achieved without the support of the local government in Anbar, clans and the bravery of the Iraqi army.

Al-Maliki said in a press statement, commenting on the initiative of the local government to solve the crisis in Anbar Province that the government renewed its determination to support the tribes who rose up against terrorism, and the acceptance of fighters from their sons in the army and the police.

He added that the government will work with all means to complete the victory on the terrorists in other areas, and the restoration of law and order and the dignity of the state.
