{Baghdad: Euphrates News} welcomed the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council on Iraq's cooperation in the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions relevant, particularly the completion of the maintenance of border markers and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on practical arrangements for the maintenance of the physical border with Kuwait.
The news agency KUNA Kuwaiti today that "leaders have praised in the final statement of the work of the Summit of Kuwait's 34 signing of Iraq with the United Nations Agreement on receipt of the amount of compensation owed to the Iraqi farmers in implementation of Security Council Resolution No. 899/1994."
and "The Council also welcomed the Supreme Security Council resolution refer the file of prisoners and missing persons and the return of Kuwaiti property to the UN mission {UNAMI} to pursue this, "he said, adding that" it was the result of the positive development of relations between Kuwait and Iraq. "
and indicated that "the Council reiterated its support for this resolution and to consider the issue of prisoners and missing persons and the return of Kuwaiti property of purely humanitarian nature "and expressed" hope the Iraqi government to continue its efforts and its cooperation with Kuwait and the international community in this regard.
