Ur neighborhood sinks in rainwater ,dozens of protesters demand rescue

Baghdad (Forat)-Dozens of Baghdad's Ur district citizens , demonstrated Friday to protesting against poor services, and sinking their area due to rainwater, since nearly five days.
The reporter of Alforat News Agency reported" The demonstrators of Ur neighborhood in Baghdad ,have cut off the road near Firdous Mosque, to protest against poor services ,and sinking of their area due to rainwater ".
The demonstrators demanded Municipality of Baghdad to rescue their area from drowning ,and to drag and drain their houses from rainwater" the reporter added.
In the same context, a statement by the Media and Relation Directorate of Baghdad Municipality, received by Alforat News Agency cited " Baghdad Municipality has launched a major campaign, to drag and drain rainwater, by mobilizing efforts (14) of its Municipal departments ,with all of its staffs and equipments".
" Shaab Municipality started its campaign of dragging and drain rainwater in Shaab district streets, especially in Ur neighborhood", the statement concluded./End/
