Shaways discusses with Japan's Ambassador the potential impacts and repercussions of the Syria crisis on Iraq

Baghdad/ NINA /-- Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways discussed with Masato Takaaka, Japan's ambassador in Baghdad, bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them.
A statement by Shaways information office said : " The two sides discussed the events taking place in the region, especially in Syria and the potential impacts of the repercussions of the events on neighboring countries in particular on Iraq.
For his part, Takaaka briefed his host about the achievements and contributions of the Government and people of Japan in Iraq after 2003 in the sectors of oil, electricity, transport, irrigation and others./End
