CBI announces decline of dollar sales during Wednesday auction session

Baghdad (AIN) –The Central Bank of Iraq announced a decline in the dollar sales during the auction session of Wednesday compared with Tuesday auction session where the dollar sales reached USD (235,064,000).

The CBI reported in statement received by AIN ''On Wednesday auction session the CBI sold USD (163,636,0000) at price of (1166) with the participation of (17) banks.''

''The price of dollar cash sale reached (1179) including the commission deducted by the CBI while the price of bank transfers reached (1171),'' the statement added.

''The CBI will continue selling USD dollar in return of (1166) Iraqi dinar within the same commission,'' the statement concluded. \END\
