Kobler: Iraq emerge from Chapter VII by end of June

Baghdad (newsletter). Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Martin Kobler, that international sanctions imposed on Iraq will be lifted before the end of June.

He said the UN representative in Iraq, Martin Kobler, during a joint press conference with the head of the Basra Governorate Council behind Abdulsamad and attended by (News Agency): the United Nations will step late June to raise the seventh item on Iraq because the most important issue in this item are the demarcation has been agreed.

He added: there's a step you should talk about the development of economic ties between Iraq and Kuwait in Chapter VII, pointing to the existence of specialized committees to continue the search for missing Kuwaitis and Kuwaiti documents and file off returned to Kuwait.

Samad said that Iraq was cooperating in resolving a border with Kuwait in order to lift the sanctions, noting that Basra will be allocated a large part of the investment funds under the agreement between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti sides that investing money in Kuwait of Iraq's debt in the investment projects.

Samad said that the Basra Governorate Council Foreign Relations Department will be involved in activating international relations with neighbouring States and the twinning of Basra and cities./finished/FS/
