Baghdad/Obelisk: CBI, decided Sunday that the Rafidain Bank and Rasheed Bank credits and as of Monday, the move is aimed at developing banking system and expand credit.
The Bank said "the Obelisk", "Central Bank Governor Abdel Basset Turki Agency held a meeting with the directors of the Bank", stating that "the meeting resulted in the Rafidain Bank and Rasheed, the opening credits as of Monday.
The source added that "the aim of the opening credits is the development of the banking system and further expansion of opening documentary credits", pointing out that "Rafidain Bank and Rasheed were not involved in the auction, the Central Bank and private banks was adopted by merchants to open Bank for import allocations and cover the costs of buying their goods.
The source said "the decision will allow the State banks in addition to the eligibility open documentary credits".
