BAGHDAD / With: Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki with Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq developments of the current situation in the country.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Islamic Supreme Council, received the "news of the future" on a copy of it, said al-Hakim had received Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, said Friday his office in Baghdad.
The statement noted that it was discussed during the meeting on developments and update on the current situation in the country.
The statement did not mention further details about the meeting.
The head of the Supreme Islamic Council, has recently visited the Kurdistan region, and held a series of meetings with various Kurdish parties.
