Washington reaffirms its commitment to the protection of the "legacy" of Iraq

It pointed out that the cooperation in the field of cultural heritage is one of the important pillars within the strategic framework agreement between Iraq and the United States of America.
The ministry noted that it sponsored the initiative "project inheritance Iraqi civilization" cost about $ 13 million and implemented IDA and relief for the period from 2008 and 2011, and resulted in the rehabilitation and furnishing (11) Hall public view at the Museum of Baghdad, with a building for the storage of holdings in three floors with creating Laboratory maintenance, and provide a new roof to sophisticated systems to control the temperature in the atmosphere of the museum.
