Turkey to play active role in dividing oil revenues between Baghdad, Erbil, says official

(AIN) -Turkey announced on Thursday that it will play an active role in distributing Iraq oil revenues between the Iraqi central government and Kurdistan Regional government.
The Turkish Energy Minister, Tanir Yildiz, said in a statement on Thursday "Turkey will play an active role in any arrangements in Iraq concerning dividing the oil revenues of Iraq between the central government and KRG."
"Turkey is ready to support the arrangements that ensure the central government's winning 83% of the crude oil revenues while the rest percentage goes to Kurdistan," the Turkish official added.
He stressed that "There is no anything that might worry the Iraqi government in this respect," /End/
