Independent Higher Commission for Elections held a meeting with the leaders of the security in Nineveh to discuss the security situation and the announcement of the election date

Held the Electoral Commission for elections, today, held a meeting with security chiefs in the province of Nineveh, to discuss the security situation in the province and supplies required for the holding of elections and set a deadline.
The conference was attended by representatives of the United Nations and Chairman of the constituency in Iraq Mekdad Sharifi, who explained that the next few days will see the announcement of the date of the elections in the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar after studying the security situation there.
Sharifi stressed that the security situation hosted security leaders in the province of Nineveh and the independent Election Commission nor is it assessed the security situation,
