Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Jamal al-Kilani, of the Iraqiya Slate assured that most of the pending issues related to 2013 General Budget were settled except those between Kurdistan Region and the Central Government.
Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), he said "Most of the demands of the political blocs regarding the Budget were taken into consideration according to the constitution but the issues of the oil companies working in KR are not settled yet."
"No bloc holds the responsibility of delaying the endorsement of the Budget because the Budget cannot be endorsed in one day after receiving it from the government, but it needs to be discussed in a good way," he concluded. /End/
Earlier, a huge number of citizens demonstrated next to the parliament building protesting the delay in endorsing 2013 Budget. /End/
