Arrived this morning Friday, 02.08.2013 Mission of the International Maritime Organization to Basra province, which consisted of three international experts seconded from the organization to assess the Iraqi maritime sector ....

This mission will put a road map for the application requirements of the agreements Marine binding for the recognition of civil Iraqi Navy and the inclusion of Iraq in the white list, and participated in the reception representatives from the technical department, legal and media relations at the Ministry of Transport and a delegation of ports and Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies and the General Company for Maritime Transport and Tanker Company Oil and South Oil Company and representatives of the transport and Attaché Coast Guard Inc. Oadz (security organization accredited to the Ministry of Transport), the mission will be held intensive meetings over the next week Taatkhalh visits to the port of Umm Qasr and Gulf Arab Academy for Maritime Studies.
