Preparations in the Chamber of Commerce and Wasit to its accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO)

{Wasit: Euphrates News} Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Wasit Muhammad Zia about the existence of preparations to join the Chamber of Commerce and Wasit to the World Trade Organization.
He said Zia told {Euphrates News} said Friday that "Chamber of Commerce and Wasit participated in the Forum on businessmen held in Portugal recently," noting that "the room also held a number of agreements with Egyptian businessmen at the Cairo Conference in order to join the Chamber of Commerce and Wasit to the World Trade Organization. "
He expressed "optimism the development of trade relations with the European countries in order to develop joint cooperation, which is in the best interest of the Iraqi citizen."
Zia went on to saying that "relations with the European countries will benefit both sides because it has a long tradition in world trade", and expressed "hope in the entry of foreign companies in order to contribute to the reconstruction of the province."
The Chamber of Commerce and Wasit stepped up their activities during the current year and the previous openness to many Arab Chambers of Commerce and Asian and European and of the fruits of that openness to conclude several bilateral agreements with chambers of commerce in the neighboring countries and the Department of Arab and European countries.
The Chamber of Commerce and Wasit was founded in the fifties of the last century and named initially Kut Chamber of Commerce before it becomes the name of the Chamber of Commerce and Wasit, and belongs to them at the present time about three thousand dealer representing various business categories.
