US Bank: Iraq is the fastest in the world due to higher production of oil

US Bank said that Iraq will be the fastest growing country in the world in the current and future years, with GDP rising by 10.5%, he attributed the reason to increase oil production, with the country expected to achieve a growth of 9% to the year 2017.

He said the US Bank Merrill Lynch in a report received "alsumaria news", that "Iraq will be the fastest growing country in the world by the year 2012 and 2013 next", stating that "gross domestic product (GDP) registered a 10.5% improvement".

As for next year, the Bank predicted that the "record in Iraq of 2013 growth to 8.2 percent but that figure is still impressive," he said, adding that "this decline will not stop him from being the most developed country in the world for the second time.

The Bank said that "the Economist Intelligence Unit forecasts indicate little difference in numbers," he said, adding that it "registered in Iraq by 8.5% for 2012 and expected growth of 8.2% for 2013.

But the bank returned to confirm that "Iraq's economy registered a stable 9% during the period between 2013 and 2017," he said, adding that "this growth is due mainly to rising oil production".

The oil Ministry announced, on 23 November 2012, rising oil exports and revenue by the end of 2012, despite bad weather in the southern ports, with the largest share went to Asian markets.

The Bank warned in its report that "acts of violence, especially those in the central areas of the capital, would continue to disrupt the economy", but "a significant improvement in the security situation would help strengthen economic activity in some southern and Western provinces, which are more homogeneous religious terms, leading to increased wholesale and singular".

The Bank also noted that "China will be the second fastest country in the world to 2012, with log GDP improved by 7.7%", but added that "the top ten markets in the world will grow by 5.5 percent this year due to problems with the Organization for economic cooperation and development".

And former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said, during the Iraqi-British Business Council IV, held in London on 6 November 2012, that Iraq will become one of the fastest growing developed countries this year will witness a growth rate of 9 percent, at a time when oil revenues, said the economy this year has doubled several times compared with size 10 years ago, said that revenue rose threefold by 2020.

The US Agency for international development, in (11 October 2012), the allocation of $ 200 million to fund various projects in Iraq by the year 2012, with reduced funding for projects attributed to security improvement and financial capacity of Iraq, stressing the need for the country to develop the administrative and technical capacity and not for money.

The oil Ministry has signed preliminary contracts in mid-July last year for exploration and investment in exploratory areas 8, 9, 12 international oil companies won in the fourth round of licensing began on 30 may for 12 exploratory area in different parts of the country, including seven gas fields and five.

Iraq crude exports from Basra and Khor Al-Amaya loading ports on the Persian Gulf, as well as the port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean Sea, through the pelvic to trucks Jordan, Iraqi oil exports in Basra about 90 percent, while the remaining exports from the Kirkuk oil fields in the North of the country through the port of Ceyhan
