Member of the parliamentary legal committee - Dr. Latif Mustafa
Khandan - A member of the legal committee in the Iraqi parliament for the MDC Dr. Latif Mustafa in a statement to "Khandan" The Iraqi constitution stipulates in Article 117 of it to recognize all the authorities and institutions in the Kurdistan region, which was owned before 2003, adding that one These institutions are the Peshmerga forces.
He explained Dr. Mustafa nice to recognize the Iraqi constitution all the authorities that he owned Kurdistan means recognizing Peshmerga forces in particular and it was exercised the authority of the Ministry of Defense before 04/09/2033.

He said a member of the Legal Committee that the Iraqi constitution prohibits involving the army in political disputes, stressing the inadmissibility of the deployment of the army in the cities, because the function of the army confined to border defense exclusively.
This Article (117) of the Iraqi Constitution in the first paragraph of it to recognize the province of Kurdistan and its existing authorities.
