Maliki confirms that his visit to China has opened a new page of cooperation and developing relations in all fields

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said his current visit to China has opened a new page of cooperation and developing relations in all areas, in addition to activating the work of the High Commission between the two countries.

A statement of the Prime Minister Maliki as saying during his visit to the capital of China's economic Shanghai "We have had the opportunity during our visit today to the city of Shanghai for the economic development and urbanization in the city, and the Chinese experience in this area," adding that "Iraq wants to benefit from this experience even reflected in the level of cooperation between the two countries. "


Maliki confirmed that "Iraq has the elements of renaissance and urban development in light of the wealth owned," reiterated the call for Chinese companies to contribute to the process of construction and reconstruction.

For their part, officials in Shanghai, according to the statement "welcomed Maliki and his delegation, stressing the seriousness in their desire to build bridges of cooperation with Iraq in different fields especially economic, urban, commercial and scientific."
