ZURICH--ABB Ltd. (ABBN.VX) Wednesday said it has won orders worth around $65 million from Mass Global Investment Co., to provide a turnkey electrical and automation solution for a new gas-turbine power plant and build a substation extension.

MAIN FACTS:

- These installations will help boost power supplies and strengthen the transmission infrastructure in northern Iraq, and the order was booked in the third quarter.

- Comprising four gas turbines with a capacity of 125 megawatt each, the new Dohuk 2 power plant will be an extension of the existing ABB-built 500 megawatt Dohuk 1 power station, which went into operation in 2011.
