Mayahi: Investigating committee over corruption issues in CBI to submit its report next week

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, the member of the Parliamentary Economic Committee announced that the investigating committee formed for investigating the corruption issue in the Central Bank of Iraq, will submit its report next week.
He stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “The draft of the investigating committee includes names of key officials within the CBI in addition to the names of some reliable banks that are involved in the corruption issues.”
“Those officials and banks had a great role in the reduction of the Iraqi currency compared to the foreign currencies in addition to their involvement in a clear policy to destroy the Iraqi economic purposely by conducted suspected contacts,” he added.
“The report of the committee will topple those officials and banks,” he concluded.
