and added: that the tax is one of the tools of political finance in the country and its regime in Iraq consists of two types of direct taxes and indirect pointing out that the GCT is the administrative body responsible for implementing the laws relating to direct taxes in Iraq and that the most important is the Income Tax Law.
Iraq promised the first countries in the region that I got to know taxes since Twenties of the last century and tax departments appeared with circles sovereign to establish national governance, pointing out that the tax system at that time to achieve the main objective of having a funding since all State expenditure was financed from taxes during the fifties of the last century or sovereign revenues was mostly from oil.
