Education signed a memorandum of understanding with the United States to improve the standard of primary education in Iraq

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} and the Ministry of Education signed with the United States a memorandum of understanding describes partnership frameworks to support Iraqi efforts to improve the standard of primary education in Iraq as part of the strategic framework agreement signed between the two countries.
The U.S. embassy statement today that "the Convention was signed by Iraqi Minister of Education Mohammad Tamim, and signed on the U.S. side Thomas Stahl, a representative of the U.S. Agency for International Development.
He added that "the agreement includes several projects aimed at promoting the educational reform process adopted by the Iraqi government."

"The Committee adopted the partnership emanating from the Iraqi government funding to support these development activities with the participation of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) at the beginning of this year."
He explained "that the memorandum of understanding working to develop frameworks cooperative working relationship between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Education to fund projects that enhance the quality of primary education and raise the efficiency of school management and improvement of the level of training of teachers."
