MP Abdul Salam al-Maliki of the State of Law Coalition pointed out that "The SLC will not permit the endorsement of the current draft of the General Amnesty Law."
He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "The SLC does not reject this law but its current draft has many defects that could be exploited by the terrorists and the murderess to be freed."
"The current draft will participate in releasing a number of Qaeda leaders who were released by the former law," he added.
"The law will not be presented for a vote in its current state especially after the series of bombings that hit Baghdad and other provinces recently," he assured.
"This law is important because it affects a number of terrorism victims so it needs political accord to be endorsed," he concluded.
