The heads of parliamentary blocs agree to nominate nine members to the Electoral Commission


Announced the Kurdistan Alliance, the heads of parliamentary blocs agreed to nominate nine members of the Independent High Commission for Elections and voting on them and amending the Law Commission during a session of the House of Representatives to be held next Thursday.
A member of the coalition happy Khoshnaw in an interview for "Alsumaria News", heads of parliamentary blocs held today a meeting with the Presidium of the Parliament and the Commission on the selection of experts to choose the members of the Commission, noting that the conferees agreed to nominate nine members of the electoral commission instead of 15 members.
Khoshnaw added that the meeting also agreed to submit to the Committee of Experts names of candidates within 24 hours, indicating that the parliament will vote on the members of the Commission and amend the law the Electoral Commission for elections 11 for the year 2007 at its average for next Thursday.
