Central Bank: the deletion of zeros from the currency needs to be further consultations
Translation / Baghdadiya News / .. Iraq News website reported trade the British statement, Deputy Governor Central Bank of Iraq the appearance of Mohammed Saleh said that "to delete the zeros of the Iraqi currency is still in need of further consultations with the relevant authorities."
The deputy governor added: "The central bank seeks to make the currency stronger and more stable through the new mechanisms in dealing with banks in the case of hard currency."
He stressed the Deputy Governor that "the main task of the central bank is to sustain and maintain the stability of the currency and support the Iraqi dinar and follow a new plan to deal with the banks regarding the transfer of foreign currency as will provide the Central Bank of the rest of the banks in foreign currency, depending on the amount of their capital and banks will check the transaction instead of being handled by the Central Bank on the condition that serves the Iraqi economy.
