Reported Bloomberg spokesman told the British Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussain al-Shahristani, Prince Abdul Ilah Al Qasim as saying that Iraqi crude oil production has risen to its highest level in twenty years with the escalation of oil production Halfaya field.
He said Abdul Ilah by telephone from Baghdad that the »oil production has exceeded 3.07 million barrels this month, compared with 2.92 million barrels for the month of May which was announced in the monthly report of OPEC».

The production of oil will rise Halfaya field rate of 70 thousand barrels per day starting from the first week of July.

He pointed out that Abdel-Elah »Production of the country will rise to 3.4 million barrels per day by the end of this year after the development of oil fields and the other is expected to reach Iraq’s production of 4 million barrels per day during the next two years.
