Select President Jalal Talabani on Thursday next day on the fifth of April 2012 as the date for the convening of the national meeting.
A statement issued by his office and received the (Iraqi News Agency, Independent) a copy of President Talabani called for a national meeting on Thursday and came in the text of the statement "After conducting deliberations and extensive consultations with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and President of the Council of Representatives Osama Najafi and with other leaders and personalities political.
President of the Republic decided to convene a national meeting on Thursday, the next day on the fifth and called the Preparatory Committee charged with preparing for the meeting to expedite the completion of its business and the creation of the work program before the date mentioned. President Talabani and wished that culminate in joint efforts to reach comprehensive solutions and adequate to meet the needs and aspirations of the Iraqi people and believes in promoting national harmony and solidarity work of the joint in order to consolidate stability and complete the building of state institutions, service delivery and development
