Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki met the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah at the beginning of his official visit to Kuwait on Wednesday morning.
An official Kuwaiti statement cited that “The discussions between Maliki and Al-Sabah were conducted in positive atmosphere.”
“Several issues of mutual interests and the latest updates on the regional and international arenas were also discussed during the meeting,” the statement added.
“The Emir of Kuwait met Maliki along with the Kuwaiti Premier, Foreign Affairs Minister as well as other Kuwaiti officials,” according to the statement. /End/
