Iraq calls to lift penalties on Iraqis living in Jordan - statement

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Immigrants and Displaced Minister Dindar Najman Dousky discussed with Jordanian Interior Minister Mohammed al-Ra'idi matters related to lifting the penalties against Iraqis who have exceeded their residency visa, and help those who want to voluntarily re-patriate.

In a statement by the ministry, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, the Iraqi minister proposed lifting visas from those who visit Jordan for health treatment.

Both sides discussed the situation in Iraq.

Minister Dousky evaluated the Jordanian role in treating Iraqis with needed facilities.

On the other side, the Jordanian Minister promised to extend all possible assistance to the Iraqis there.
