Deputy security and defense denies the existence of corrupted files in contracts for the purchase of arms from Washington

BAGHDAD (Iba) ... denied a member of the Commission on Security and Defence parliamentary Qasim al-Araji, there are no corrupted files in the contracts for the purchase of arms from the United States.
Araji said in a press statement that contracts had been with Washington on the purchases of the type of tank (Abrams) and fighter aircraft.
Araji said that what some of the media is far from reality and intended to tarnish such deals, defendants in the same time, some participants in the political process of trying to prevent the arming of the army with sophisticated weapons and modern.
For its part, confirmed the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, in a statement issued by the U.S. arms sales to Iraq conducted according to the program of the Government of the United States Foreign Military Sales, which is fully transparent and accountable, unlike what was reported recently from news reports.
