Discussed and the Ministry of Martyrs and Anfal in Kurdistan Regional Government a draft law [offset the damage resulting from the crimes of the former regime] with specialists and experts in the city of Arbil, to be presented in subsequent time on discussion with stakeholders in the federal government and submitted to the House of Representatives for approval.
A statement of the Kurdistan Regional Government today by the Minister of Martyrs and Anfal Aram Ahmed said that "in order to obtain appropriate compensation to all those affected by crimes of the former regime in Iraq, especially from Kurdistan and southern Iraq, who are deeply affected by these crimes from the operations of the Anfal and the chemical weapons we have to hold this conference in collaboration with International Organization for missing [ICMP] ". The Ahmed to "the necessity of a law expanded to compensate those affected," noting that "Zach formed a committee of specialists and legal experts and in consultation with, among others, and to enrich the project we host local experts in Baghdad and Erbil and foreigners for the classification of those affected to include everyone, whether damage to physical or moral or psychological, and we have invited a group of foreign experts for this purpose.
