Supreme Committee for population policies considering the possibility of the formation of the higher of the population in Iraq

The Committee discussed the Supreme population policies possibility of forming a higher council of the population in Iraq means the demographic issues and population policy in the country.
The Mahdi Keywords, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning, Chairman of the Higher National Committee for population policies in Iraq, in a press statement: "The Committee and during its seventh meeting, agreed to submit a proposal to the cabinet requires the formation of the highest population in Iraq," he said, adding that the committee also discussed the progress in program development graduate studies in the field of population and demographics.
He explained: "The meeting of the Committee discussed the results reached on the preparation of analytical study on the demographic characteristics in Iraq and what it represents the importance of this study will form the base as a key to help the makers of plans in the field of population policy."
In the same context, The Media Office, Ministry of Planning that the Higher Committee for population policies begun preparations to hold a national conference expanded on the reality of the population in Iraq during the next two months.
He noted that the most important issues to be discussed by the conference the formation of the highest population policies and the general census of population, which is of great importance for development of the reality in Iraq and other issues are important. / 4
