Talabani and Jeffrey discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between Iraq and the United States

Baghdad (news) .. Search by President Jalal Talabani, his office in Baghdad on Monday evening, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey and his accompanying delegation, bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States and ways to strengthen the partnership strategy between the two countries.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic received ( Agency news) on Monday: that the meeting include bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States and ways to strengthen the partnership strategy between the two countries in all fields.
The statement added that the two sides exchanged views on the latest political developments in the Iraqi arena, where the head of the Republic: to his tireless efforts to calm the current situation and work to create a political climate conducive to convene the National Congress expanded between the blocks and the political forces in order to address the current crisis, stressing the need of Iraq to national harmony and build a true national partnership to manage the country a modern and civilized.
The statement that U.S. Ambassador stressed the importance of the extraordinary efforts made by President Talabani in this political crisis facing the country also made great efforts in previous crises, expressed appreciation for this pivotal role and national levels to soften the atmosphere and to encourage political parties to engage fraternal building towards solving the problems and obstacles that hinder the political process.
